Dear Lisa, I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for Ruby. After making the heart breaking decision to find her a new loving and hopefully forever home, you have worked wonders on getting her ready for the world outside Britton Farm where she was born. I do hope she will be as happy in her new home as she has been with you at Casebourne Farm. I will highly recommend your service to anyone looking for sales livery, retraining or rehab for their horse. Many thanks again. Vanessa Mayes

Having been recommended to Lisa I didn’t look any further when my Welton mare, Grace needed backing. Lisa was marvellous as she had the added problem of my mare being blind in one eye. Within a week she was hacking out and by the end of week four she was escorting the new youngsters! I realise that every horse is different but Lisa evaluated my mare’s capability perfectly. She is home now and despite only having sight in one eye she is jumping, hacking out and she won the first ever dressage test she did!
Thank you so much to Lisa and her team, we know exactly where to come when Graces daughter needs backing!

After an unfortunate injury in the field which lead to a dying tail which may or may not fall off, my horse required round the clock care. With a long awaited holiday looming, I asked the Whitemill Vet practice if they could recommend someone totally trustworthy to care for my horse for twelve days. They directed me to Lisa Stock and said they could recommend no-one more highly.
I am so grateful they did, the service was exemplary, easy and reasonably priced. Lisa was very efficient and organised transport for my difficult to load horse and coaxed him on to a lorry easily. The tail duly fell off whilst the horse was in Lisa’s care and she even sent me a gory text to confirm the state of my horse’s rear end! I did not have to worry once whilst I was away which was just fabulous. The horse was then delivered back to me utterly happy, with a sack of medicaments and a long list of treatments I needed to apply to ‘Stumpy’ as directed by Lisa who had liaised regularly with my vet. All in all an absolutely excellent service I would happily recommend to anyone. Thank you Lisa!

Having bred the horse of my dreams, work commitments and family forced a move back to Northern Ireland. Leaving my precious youngster behind and with a big move to cope with I needed my youngster backed before she came to join me in her new home. I was highly recommended to use Lisa and being out of the country could only be involved via photos and phonecalls. Lara had a really short stay with Lisa as I had transport booked for her. I was assured by Lisa she was safe to just get on and hack out, so with some trepidation after letting her recover from the journey I did just that. WOW! I couldn’t have felt safer if I had been on an truly experienced horse. Northern Ireland has no bridleways so it’s road work or trailering to the forests or the beach, Lara has handled everything with ease! She started her showing career this year, just thought I would let her have a go. She did so well I am out of novice classes after only two shows!
I cannot thank Lisa enough for such a great job under real time constraints, Lara is developing into an outstanding mare who I know will go on to win and win.

Sergio is a 7 year old Thoroughbred gelding. He was bred and trained to race, however for unknown reasons never ran. I bought him 2 years ago with the intention of keeping him for dressage and hacking. I soon realised he was far from straight-forward and sought professional help from two different trainers with limited success. He had a history of gastric ulcers and soft tissue damage to his back and this left him very ‘girthy’ and reluctant to be ridden. Despite healing him physically a vet suggested retiring him or having him destroyed.
By chance I spotted an advertisement for Lisa Stock and decided to give him one last chance as a ridden horse. Lisa took him right back to basics and treated him like a new starter and her reassuring manner and her sympathetic, methodical approach meant Sergio came home after two weeks happy and confident. I was also given the much needed support to return my confidence which had been eroded. Lisa showed me practical methods and tips which I have continued to use at home. Sergio and I are now enjoying life hacking out and I know Lisa is always on the end of the telephone if I need any advice. I believe Lisa gave Sergio the best possible chance, with no short cuts, and would recommend to anyone.

Lisa had my mare Luna in for backing and the first thing I can say is WOW! The difference in my mare even being able to now be stabled alone is phenomenal. Lisa is so kind, caring and really does treat each horse as if they’re her own, she doesn’t just say it to make you use her, she really gives them 5* love and care. I’ve always been so nervous about sending my horse away but Lisa made the experience so nice for both of us that I didn’t worry for a second about my horse being with her. I was updated regularly and sent lots of videos and pictures of the progress. A 5* rating is not enough for this wonderful lady and the lovely Emma! If you’re looking for someone to back, rehabilitate or school your horse then Lisa is the one to go to, I honestly cannot recommend this lady highly enough. I will never look or go elsewhere for any equine services. I would like to say a tremendous thank you to Lisa for her amazing work and for being such a kind and incredible horsewoman.
Keep being amazing Lisa, we shall see you soon!!
